How It Works

It is very simple to use our site!  Using the tabs at the top of the page, you can learn about what we offer and read all about us.  You can view our course demos, read about our class offerings, and sign up for tutoring and classes.

Our Welcome tab offers information about our school, contact information, frequently asked questions, and testimonials to allow you to get to know us better!

The General Information tab will tell you basics on the school-- what requirements your computer must have in order to take our courses, school policies, news concerning virtual schooling,  and information on career opportunities with Solid Rock Virtual School.

Under the Orientation tab you will find information pertaining to how we accommodate and help each type of user.  Go to the type of user you are, and read on to learn more.

The What We Offer tab has a list of our courses and their accompanying demos, the courses in which we offer tutoring, and information about our Private School Option.

When you have decided to join our school, select the Enroll Now tab, fill it out, and you're on your way to registering your student(s) and purchasing your selected courses!

Once you have created your account, you will want to add your students.
To do this, log in and select the Student Management tab and choose Add New Student.
Use this to register each of your students, as needed.
After registering your students, you may purchase our courses and/or tutoring from the Parent Home Page.
In your account you will have access to send emails, make school purchases, view the school calendar, and more.
You will be able to personally view and manage your students' information, courses, and grade book.
All parents and student pages can be customized with a personal favorite picture.

*Homeschooling Parents: We offer a Private School option that takes all of the agony out of having to keep records of your students' grades and also allows you to register your student in your state as a "private school" student instead of a "homeschooled" student.  When the student is in our private school option, we offer an Academic Advisor to assist you in all of your academic records and also to prepare your student for college. Parents and students will both have more specific orientations available to them from their personal accounts that they can use as tutorials for our site.

Using our site is simple, exciting, and fun... and if you need help we are accessible by email or phone.                                (727)834-8586   |   M - F   |   9am - 4pm EST
